Dr Allan Powles
MBBS Dip RACOG, FACRRM

Dr Powles has worked on Phillip Island for over twenty years, is an experienced rural GP; his special interests in medicine are Geriatrics, Accident & Emergency, Cardiology, Psychology, minor surgery.

Allan is married with four children, aged from 11-16. His interests outside medicine are centred on his family, his farm where he runs beef cattle, traveling and keeping fit by daily running.

Dr H Struk
MBBS 1st Part Obs, Gyn (Pol) FRACGP

Dr Struk has worked on Phillip Island for 12 years, is an experienced rural GP; his special interests in medicine are geriatrics, cardiology and dermatology.

Henryk is married, with 3 children in secondary and tertiary education. His interests outside medicine are skiing, tennis, traveling and exercising his dogs.

Dr Graeme Hudson
MBBS, FRACGP, FRACCRM

Dr Hudson has worked on Phillip Island for 12 years. He has had many years of experience as a rural GP on Phillip Island and also in the north of Victoria. His special interests in medicine are general medicine, spinal injuries and anaesthetics.

Graeme is married to Jan, has four children and nine grandchildren. His interests outside medicine are working and enjoying his large garden and viewing snow sports.

Dr B Williams
MBBS Dip RACOG, FRACGP

Dr Williams has been with PIMG for over 10 years and works part-time. Her special interests in medicine as well as holistic care are womens health, counselling and palliative care.

Dr Geoff Cox
MBBS, DRANZCOG, FACRRM

Dr Geoff Cox has been working part-time in the practice for many years. His special interests in medicine are paediatrics, general medicine, minor surgery and antenatal care. Geoff is married with three children; loves spending time with his children and enjoys hiking, bike riding, kayaking, surfing and skiing.

Dr Karen Langston
MBBS (Hons), FRACRRM

Dr Karen Langston has been consulting in the practice since 2004. Karen's special interests in medicine are preventative health and women's health.

Dr Geoff Bartlett
M.B., B.S.(Melb.), B.E.(Mech.) D(Obst.) R.C.O.G

Dr Geoff Bartlett has worked at Phillip Island Medical Group since 1999, helping out during the holidays and now he regularly consults at PIMG. Geoff has a practice in Mooroolbark and a holiday house on Phillip Island so he has the best of both worlds! Geoff's special interests in medicine are obstetrics and dermatology; outside medicine he loves playing the piano, photography and spending quality time with his family and grandchildren.

Dr Rawa Fadheel
MBChB

Rawa moved to Melbourne from Auckland, NZ in 2002. She had worked in Melbourne and country Victoria, gaining lots of experience in Emergency medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and General surgery. She works part-time and her main interests are women’s health, paediatrics and psychiatry. Her hobbies are swimming, tennis and camping.

Dr. TK Gowda
MBBS (India)

Dr Gowda came to Australia, from India, with his wife and daughter in March 1998. During the last 10 years he has worked as a HMO/Medical registrar in various hospitals all over Australia, including the Monash Medical Centre and traveling as far as Western Australia, where his daughter was born in Perth. For the past three years he has worked in North East Health in Wangaratta . He moved to Phillip Island in April 2008. He enjoys watching cricket and spending as much time as he can with his family

Dr. Majid Naeem
MBBS (Pakistan)

Dr. Naeem is here on a part-time, permanent basis. He worked in Oman and Dubai for ten years prior to coming to Australia. Since 2005 he worked at the Monash Medical Centre. He speaks Arabic, Urdu and English and his medical interests are in emergency medicine and paediatrics.
He has a wonderful sense of humour, loves spending time with his family, socialising with friends and following cricket.

Dr Raza Shabbir
MBBS (Pakistan), MBA, MHM

Dr. Shabbir has worked extensively overseas, primarily the Emirates and England. He is fluent in English and Arabic. He works part-time and his special interests are in Skin Cancer/Melanomas and Cardiac diseases. Outside of work he enjoys tennis and off-road 4WD adventures.

Dr Hieu Tang
MBBS

Dr Hieu Tang is here on a permanent basis and works full time. He graduated in 1982 and practiced for 9 yrs in South Vietnam before coming to Australia in 1992. He studied further at the University of Tasmania, graduating in 2001. Hieu speaks fluent English and Vietnamese. His special interest is in mens health in general practice. His outside interests are soccer, tennis and being involved in charity work.



Dr Peter Ward
MBBS

Peter has been a GP for over 21 years and enjoys the myriad of different facets of his work. He works part-time, mainly at the San Remo clinic.
He enjoys seeing patients through to recovery from acute illnessess, and pursing answers to complex problems.
Peter loves spending time with his wife and 2 children, keeping fit and is passionate about plants, primarily exotic fruit trees and natives.
