Home Visits

Doctors of this practice regularly provide home visits both in and after hours to patients of our practice. T hese visits are usually made by prior arrangement between the Doctor and patient or carer concerned.

However, home visits are often inappropriate where investigations have to be carried out and these cannot be done at home. Also in an emergency situation, an ambulance may need to be called. Our receptionist will always relay a request for a home visit to the doctor concerned.

Home visits after hours can be arranged with our doctors or by ringing our after hours locum service on 132 660 ( Local call), who will triage the call and contact on duty doctor where necessary.
